Color: A bright, attractive peridot.
Louche: Very attractive, opalescent louche that retains a nice green color with touches of gold and white.
Aroma: Lots of character with wormwood and anise at the forefront with an interesting hint of something that resembles cumin.
Flavor: complex with high quality wormwood balanced well with anise. Dry and refreshing with a nice bitterness.
Finish: Bracing like splashing your face with water from an alpine stream. Nice and refreshing. definitely enjoyable.
Overall: This is a dramatically different absinthe from the first version of Angelique (SVC is the Alandia offering of Angelique). I like this quite a bit. It's definitely at the top of the Alandia offerings.
