Appearance: Light yellow, but the color is apparent. The previous version had almost no color.

Louche: Substantial improvement from the original. Nicely opaque. Hints of yellow and green. Much thicker than last time, but still not quite opalescent.

Aroma: More balance than the original. You still get the nice wormwood aroma, but it's supported now by a nice level of sweet green anise and vegetal fennel. Inviting.

Flavor: Thicker, more enjoyable mouthfeel. Much nicer balance of herbs. Quite enjoyable. I'd like more flavor from the supporting herb bill used in coloration, but that would come if they ended up being a bit more aggressive in the coloration step.

Finish: still recedes quicker than I'd prefer, but there's a nice spiciness from the wormwood complimented by the sweetness of the anise. A slight amount of astringency.

Overall: A solid effort. MUCH better than v.1. Anyone would view this as a quality, mid-level brand. Congrats on the improvements!
