A buddy of mine picked up a bottle of this at a local liquor store and we shared it on several occasions. It never gets better no matter how many times you drink it.

Color: This is the best part of this absinthe and its not that remarkable. It has a sort of swamp water look to it. At least its a natural color, but it isn't striking in any way.

Louche: Patethic partial louche. The ONLY reason I gave it a 2 is because I have seen worse in Le Tourment. Its translucent at best.

Aroma: Alcohol and more alcohol. Not much else, maybe a hint of herbalness if you can call it a himt.

Flavor: Nothing but bitter here. Bitterness, and not in a nice way like some better absinthes. I've only tasted one more bitter than this and its Versinthe Verte.

Finish: Just unpleasant then instantly fades. No lasting herbal niceties, no sweet anise remnants, no tongue numbing.

Overall: Just don't buy it. The only way this stuff was pallatable was when I had a good few glasses of good absinthe first.
