Appearance: A deep, funky green, not unlike extra virgin olive oil. It's not very attractive.
Louche: Lots of oily movement while the water combines with the "absinthe"...and absolutely no louche.
Aroma: Smells like extra strong iced tea and the odor that dried flowers get at the craft store, some mint, and an awful lot of camphor.
Flavor/Mouthfeel: There's the tiniest whisper of wormwood and bitter that yields to a cheap, dried tea bag of mint tea flavor. It tastes like these herbs have been long since dead.
Finish: This is all of the things I hate about cheap tea...bitter, too dry, no flavor nuance. There's also a very slight vinegary pickle flavor.
Overall: Yuck.
