I was so excited when I ordered this drink because it was sooo expensive that it had to be awesome. Not the case. The only way I could get a good louche was by dropping a small ice cube in the drink. You can really taste the alcohol but you dont get a good buzz. It seems to me Absinthe is basically Sambuca with herbs in it. You can achieve a louche effect with Sambuca, put the Sambuca with some icecubes in a shaker and shake rigorously for about a minute...you'll get the same thing you get with Absinthe. I wouldn't reccomend this Century stuff to anyone. Cost me 185.00 bucks to buy the bottle and have it ship to USA. It just made me mad at myself. Lesson learned.
