Appearance: An attractive light green.
Louche: Nicely built with a delicate milkiness. Inviting.
Aroma: Very nice herbal aroma slightly dominated by sweet anise.
Flavor: Quite sweet but counterpointed with a bite reminiscent of white pepper. Enjoyable, but a bit simplistic.
Finish: Finish is 'ok', but not overly enjoyable. There was a strange touch of what I can only describe as the aftertaste you get when you try artificial sweetener. However, it was barely there. Hardly perceptable.
Overall: An enjoyable absinthe. I don't know if I'd go out on a limb to buy a new bottle, but I'd never turn down a glass if offered to me.
