Appearance: And attractive golden green.
Louche: Very nice. Opalescent with hints of green, white, and yellow.
Aroma: Sweet and alluring. Anise, fennel, minty wormwood all work well together with an underlying honey 'funk' that adds depth
Flavor: Smooth and pleasant. The mead base definitely adds a lot of character. Layers upon layers of flavor. Creamy texture. Delicious.
Finish: Intriguing and delightful. Complex flavor and mouthfeel lingers for quite some time. The mead really comes through.
Overall: Delicious stuff. Everyone needs a bottle of this. It's not a gimmick. It's truly a GOOD absinthe. Kudos to Martin Zufanek to yet another success from an already accomplished distillery.
