Allegedly based on an 1875 recipe from the halls of Kubler, this is their take on a Verte Suisse.

Appearance: Attractive peridot with golden hues
Louche: Quite thick! But almost a bit muddy. No real opalescence.
Aroma: Anise with hints of wormwood and hyssop.
Flavor: Surprisingly bitter! Like, VERY bitter. Bracing. Hints of anise but the wormwood is forceful in this one. A bit one-dimensional.
Finish: Acrid. Not a lot of sweetness. Drying astringence lasts for quite some time.
Overall: Looks nice, but really isn't a very pleasurable drink. Would do better prepared with some sugar cubes, but I'm just not a fan.
