Appearance: a very light yellow green, clear. Quite uninteresting for a verte.
Louche: a good start, at 1:2 it has promising color and opalescence, a 1:3 it’s completely gone.
Aroma: before louching a very strong aroma of anise and green grass (melissa?). After water it opens up a little. Slightly medicinal.
Taste: mostly anise and wormwood, more anise than I expected. Notes of green grass, mellow. Very little bitterness.
Finish: anise and wormwood lingering.
Overall: not bad but pretty uninteresting for someone looking for complex flavors. Very light in flavor and aroma, far too light for a 72% absinthe. Little bitterness too, in spite of the "Amer". This was one of the first bottles I bought, in late 2015, when I was looking for something bitter.
