A Classic Cocktail
1 1/2 oz rye whisky
3/4 oz sweet vermouth
2 bar spoons cherry brandy liqueur
1 bar spoons absinthe or Pernod
Stir with ice. Strain into a Champagne saucer. Garnish with a lime or lemon twist.
