Review Detail

La Valote L'Originale Martin
Traditional Absinthe
Color: Clear, no defect

Louche: Very thick and turbulent trails that build up to a very well formed, deep louche.

Aroma: Based on the criteria, I must give it a 2 because the aroma is SO weak. It's barely there. Hints of honey.

Flavor: Very light and a bit peppery. This one falls apart with too much water. Quite light on the anise, but there's not much else there to take its place.

Finish: Receded extremely quickly. Annoyingly so.

Overall: I need more flavor!
