Truely Stunning

Mansinthe, I love this drink! The colour is brilliant, to me - natural looking and lush. When mixed traditionally at a 1-4 poured over a cube, the oils swirl and the clouding begins slowly, and forms rapidly after. The aroma is very strong of anise, with a little 'ting' as is the flovour. Overall this is my favourite absinthe, I will be purchasing many more bottles in the future. I just hope that the sponsor's fanbase is big enough to keep this drink on the shelves, as I think that the common conniseur would not purchase Mansinthe purely because of the sponsor.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truely magnificent taste sensation!

Pernod - What have you done???

Very dissapointed, but what do you expect for under $AU40.00... The colour is a very see-through yellow, almost like urine. There is no louche, only clouding and a slight color change. The scent is nice, however the taste is very bland as there is not enough bite (prepared traditionally 1-5 w/ sugar). Overall it is drinkable, and as a substitute not too bad, but it is not what you would expect from a company with the history that Pernod-Ricard hold.
