The Sahara Glowing Heart

1 oz dry gin
1 oz absinthe or Pernod
1 oz apricot eau de vie
1/2 oz grenadine

Shake with ice. Strain into a Champagne saucer.

Add to iced tumbler, shake and strain into a cocktail glass:
 
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 dash orange bitters
3 dashes absinthe
2/3 jigger Italian vermouth
1/3 jigger whiskey
