Duchess Cocktail (Waldorf-Astoria)

1 dash of orange bitters
1/3 absinthe
1/3 French vermouth
1/3 Italian vermouth 
 

Stir in iced mixing glass and strain into chilled cocktail glass.

A Classic Cocktail

Pink Lady No. I

1 1/2 oz old tom gin
Juice of 1/2 lemon or 1 lime
1 bar spoons orange bitters
1/2 oz egg white, beaten
1 1/2 oz sloe gin
1 bar spoons absinthe
3/4 oz dry vermouth
2 bar spoons grenadine

Shake with lumps of cracked ice. Serve into a goblet.
