I am new. Well, I have been enjoying some variety of absinthe for a few years. But I am new to this vast knowledge base. I started with Absynthe that was at an ABC store. That at least showed me something I didn't know. Asbsinthe was anise based. I am a huge fan of Sambuca, Ouzo and Arak.

My next bottle was Lucid. WOW! I was amazed at how complex this was compared to the other mentioned drinks. So I tried another. Le Torment. The name should have given it away. A few more from the local stores and I found St. George. This stuff is in my opinion, a step up. I like it.
Now I see your ratings and want to try Jade PF 1901 and a bunch of others.

St. George is an interesting spirit in and of itself, but in terms of absinthe is definitely a bit of an oddity. Photographs well though!
